Sore Point

Last night was legs vs. Rich in the battle of the bulk.

Knocked out 4 sets of squats, 6 reps each at 220lbs.
Followed by 1 set of barbell lunges at 115lbs, 6 reps (lunge forward with one leg, then back up, lunge with other leg, that’s one rep).
Followed by 2 sets of straigt leg deadlifts, 6 reps @ 115lbs.

The squat has gone from being an excercise I was always afraid of to one of my favorites. I’ve stopped doing leg curls and leg extensions on the bench and instead now I do squats and deadlifts. Of course I’ll probably do ext and curls over Christmas vacation since the folks have a nice all-in-one gym at their place and I won’t have access to a squat rack.

Today I’m STILL sore from Monday’s WO, and a bit from last nights. Good thing I can sit down for most of tonight’s WO: back and biceps.

    Dang, RichZilla. You had better slow down on the workouts. You are killing my motivation.
