Those faithful reader(s) of mine will remember my series of four pencil renderings from some time past, which I’ve been converting to larger scale soft pastel paintings. Here is the latest progress installment of the lighthouse/bird piece.
I need to add the detailed drawing of the lower underbrush area and any animal life therein, and start building up indications of the light source and how the light is hitting the lighthouse itself. I’m happy with it so far.
