Cat’s Out

Posted on Friday 8 April 2005

I have finally given notice at work. I can breath again. Geez it’s so hard to maintain a poker face and act like everything is business as usual until that two week milestone arrives.

Here’s an excerpt of my notice, the part where I admit that the people I’ve worked with over the years at Automark and Reynolds are pretty damn awesome:

April 8, 2005
To my coworkers and to management, I hereby give my two weeks notice. Friday, April 22 will be my last day with Reynolds Web Solutions.

I find myself already missing the camaraderie I’ve found in Virginia. I’ve made some lifelong friendships here. I’ve learned a great deal from everyone I’ve interacted with.

I’ve learned so many things and met so many people on this ride, I hardly know where to begin. I guess I’ll just dive into it.

I’m indebted to: Craig Boice, Mike Adams, Matt Rajkowski, Roy Baker, David Stiller, Christian Manzella, Noah DiCenso, Kevin Eggers, Steven Napierski, Harry Moore, Robbie Harrell, Dave Chopard, Scott Holava, Amy Lindoerfer, Kim Lembke, Ted Johns, Ralph Keating, Tres Matthews, Denis Sanchez, George Culbreth, Jim and Nikki Dough, Cindy Buhman, Veronica Klutz, Mike Amburn, Mark Deywalt, Chris McMahan, Deon Bond, Jeff Byrne, Phil Davis, Paul Minner, Sara Ambrose, Milt Rider, Connie Riggi, Ernie Lindsey, Gerry Malig, Alex Cancado, Dana Cobb, Chris Lewis, Chris Johnson, Langdon Oliver and anyone I’ve managed to miss…

I am grateful to have met all of you, and I’ll miss the challenges we’ve faced together and overcome. Be well, and I wish the best for every one of you. Look me up any time and I”ll be happy to catch up with you.
