Greetings from the Volunteer state! We’re in the midst of summer now it seems, and in the middle of many house and yard projects. Pattie is loving her job, and I’m striving towards building a good body of freelance clients. It’s a fun time, and we’re thankful we are able to be here doing all this!
I’ve set up a Flickr account and posted some pictures from our going away party in April that Sharon hosted for us. I’ll also be posting some home improvement pics soon, and I’m sure Pattie will have a Flickr account soon which will rapidly be filled with pet pics 
My parents just got back from visiting our family in Iowa, specifically for my grandmother’s 80th birthday but in general to just visit and spend time with family. They also had good news recently in that they sold their house, which had been on the market for just a week. They are moving locally, to a house with a healthy construction theme… this means the construction methods guarantee healthy air through moisture control, green materials which don’t outgas, etc. They are very excited about it.
More later, now that the blog fairy has visited it’s always easier to write a 2nd and 3rd entry after a long period of not posting
