Sultry

I’ve always loved Lautrec’s work, his lighting, and the odd chromatic contrasts he would employ.

Here is a wave in that direction.

or is it

Rich, we’ve not had internet service for a short while but your Dad got it working tonight after spending time on the phone with the company but getting no results. After talking to them he went down into that security room and before long he had it up running. It just took a while after we realized we were having problems. Maybe I’m not making sense. Anyway, is that a pastel piece of Pattie? Wow! I’m assuming she didn’t pose that way the whole time. Dad guessed it was probably a photograph. That must have taken quite a while to do. It’s very good! I always wondered what seeing double meant.

How’s the job working out? Dad thought you sounded pretty excited about it.

Sounds like you had a fun cookout. I hated to miss it!

Is there a limit to how long my response can be? I better sign off. Love you, mom

Art Institute of Chicago has a Toulouse-Lautrec & Montmartre exhibit going on right now. Didn’t get a chance to visit, but it would have been nice.
