Painting
So our garage is really packed with stuff… Furniture, mattresses, spare drywall, 2×4’s, 2×6’s, plywood, antique furniture, old tools, cardboard to be recycled, a wheelbarrow, camping gear, carpet we have left over and need to do something with, a seed spreader, etc. You get the idea.
There is no longer room to do pastels in my garage studio, so I quit painting.
That’s never a great idea, and it’s too easy to let excuses get in the way of being creative and productive. So lately I’ve been pushing, and trying to paint more frequently and actually start finishing some pieces. Problem is, pastels are really dirty. So the acrylics I’ve mentioned in the past have really been fun for me, and I look forward to all the new art supplies I suspect (and hope) will be in my toolbox soon.
This week I will be posting some pics of two paintings I’ve been working on consecutively, from start to finish and from pencils to color rendering… Stay tuned…
